Founded in 1996 by Roger Gore on a small $200 investment, G’Natural was the result of his quest to find a better way to care for his own hair problems while helping others face the same issues. When he noticed his hair was thinning, balding, and showing signs of a receding hairline, Roger tried every product on the market with little or no success. So, with 15 years of cosmetology experience under his belt, he started working on formulas of his own to create a solution that could stimulate growth, soothe his scalp, and add moisture and shine. With these humble beginnings and a lot of hard work, G’Natural hair products were born.
Roger used a plethora of herbal ingredients found in his kitchen including lavender, jojoba, olive, sunflower, and safflower to create his first products in 1997. The hair and scalp conditioner, as well as the hair growth oil, would go to become staples of the line that would help build a dedicated following. For over a year he used his own products and saw success. Since then, the brand has expanded its products line to a full hair and skin system including: Oh So Clean Shampoo, Mint Fortress Conditioner, Leave In Conditioners, Body and Hair Butter, Hair Puddings and the famous Get-It-G Razor Relief.
